Focus on Eating

Do you watch TV or read while you're eating? Do you eat while you are working at the computer? What about eating standing over the sink? If these are habits you're familiar with, you may not be aware that this kind of eating can actually cause you to eat more because you aren't fully aware of what you're putting in your mouth and your focus is elsewhere. Practice by sitting down at the table to eat. Be with your food. Pay attention what goes in your mouth. And when you're done you'll have plenty of time for the important tasks ahead.
